Whitby Town grabbed a late equaliser to earn a point in Nottinghamshire with a makeshift defence.
The Blues were without suspended skipper Danny Rowe for the first time since August 2022 with full-back Soni Fergus stepping into his shoes at centre-half.
Unfortunately, Fergus pulled up with what looked like a serious re-occurrence of his old hip and groin injury.
By then, Connor Smith had already limped off at right-back- Aaron Haswell was playing at left-back after Coleby Shepherd ended up on crutches after an injury sustained on Tuesday night at Lancaster City.
In a poor match, one of the few to survive the big chill due to the 3G pitch at Basford United, it was the hosts who led early in the second half.
It was no surprise that when the equaliser came, in the last minute, it was Jacob Gratton, Town's top scorer, who netted his 12th of the season to rescue a point.
