Elsewhere in the division, Driffield were edged out 43-31 at home, by Blaydon.
In North East 2, Malton & Norton lost 43-18 at home to Pontefract.
Bridlington were beaten 44-13, at Harrogate Pythons, in Yorkshire One.
In Yorkshire 3A, Hornsea were beaten by just two points, 29-27, at home, by York RI.
Whitby bucked the trend, in Yorkshire 4A, beating Hullensians II 40-12.
