Jacob Gratton has signed for Whitby Town as the club builds it's squad for the coming season.
The 21 year old attacking right winger spent last season at now relegated Belper Town.
Gratton has previously played for his home town club Rotherham United, and had load spells at Guiseley, Farsley Celtic and Scarborough Athletic where he played just one game before being hit by injury.
Gratton says he's lookign forward to joining the Whitby dressing room having been impressed by their performances when he played against the blues last season.
Gratton says he's not averse to taking risks on the field of play and is hoping to add more goals to his tally at Whitby.
The 21 year old thinks that although it will be a tough league to play in next season, Whitby have got every chance of being among the contenders for promotion.
Manager Nathan Haslam said:
"I was very impressed with Jacob when we played Belper away in November last year and from that day I kept my tabs on him.
"He's a player that I made a priority to get over the line this summer and I'm delighted to have got it done."
