The Blues make the short trip to Stockton Town in NPL Premier on Saturday.
Other than injured midfielder Ronnie McGrath, Gary Liddle should have a full squad to choose from.
Whitby striker Matty Tymon played for Stockton last season and has been enjoying some banter with his former team-mates:
" Yeah, I think with there being a rivalry game, there'll be a lot of players who know each other. Obviously we've met earlier in the season and it was quite an interesting game. I think they got on top of us to begin with and then we got into the game, changed shape and we, we looked good for the point. On another day, we possibly could have taken three [points], I think they might have said the same thing as well, but running in different runs of form. I would say at the minute we've been doing well, but then obviously with the last game against Leek dropping points, we could be a lot higher up the league, and I think we'll see Saturday as being a good platform really to try and kick on from."
Tymon says The Anchors' artificial pitch could be a challenge:
" It will be difficult and it'll be an adjustment, but we train on a Tuesday, Thursday at Middlesbrough College, so hopefully we can- I think it's all about starting well- if we can go there, start well. Even if the pitch isn't fantastic, hopefully we can just take the momentum throughout the game and pick up a positive result.
"The bounce is always higher. It's as simple as just passing the ball from five, 10 yards away. It just moves slightly to the left or slightly to the right, and if you mistime a pass, especially, if there's a bit of water on the surface, it's gone. It's really awkward to play on at times, especially Stockton's, like with taking a touch, sometimes it sticks to your foot, sometimes it bounces off your foot. It's really difficult."
