Scarborough Athletic played out a dramatic encounter with promotion rivals FC United of Manchester at a packed Flamingo Land Stadium.
Scarborough Athletic played out a 2-2 draw against fellow promotion hopefuls FC United of Manchester at Flamingo Land Stadium.
Over 1,700, including more than 400 away supporters, packed into the ground for the six-pointer.
The visitors raced into the lead, after just two minutes. However, Boro roared back just before half-time when skipper Michael Coulson fired home his second goal in as many games, from the penalty spot.
Then moments into the second half, Athletic led for the first time in the match when Kieran Glynn found the net. But United rallied and levelled with 15 minutes remaining. A win would've taken Boro level on points with second in the NPL Premier, while the Red Rebels could have done with the points to go level with fifth-placed Warrington.

There were some reports on social media of disorder in sections of the crowd during the game.
Boro manager Jono Greening gave his thoughts to Scarborough Athletic TV after the match:
Whitby Town's trip to Stalybridge Celtic and Bridlington Town's home clash with Brighouse Town were both postponed due to waterlogged pitches.
