Third-placed Scarborough Athletic take on Leamington, in National North, on Saturday, at the Mounting Systems Stadium, where they'll e joined by a Scarborough charity.
The Rainbow Centre are looking for harvest donations to support homeless people in the area.
The centre's Fundraising Officer is a Seadogs fan himself, James Howard:
" We've been in touch with Scarborough. We've spoken with Rhiannon [Hunt] for quite some time now, since probably the summer about going down to Scarborough and having this appeal and tying it in with the Harvest Festival appeal, obviously with the troubles that the football club have gone to and they're having to go down to Brid.
"We're going down to Brid this week. So we've been invited down with the Rainbow Van and hopefully there'll be lots of fans there to watch the game and see Scarborough win, but also to donate a little bit to us."
James described some of the items the charity needs:
"We're looking for the kind of long life stuff, so tinned vegetables, tuna, spaghetti, hot dogs, anything like cereal, noodles, pasta, rice, anything that we can keep with a long date on so that it'll get us through the winter months. That'd be fantastic. I think we're setting up around about one o'clock and we'll be at the front gate and we'll be there right up until kick-off and probably be in the ground after kick-off.
"If anyone sees us, come and say hello and don't feel like you can't donate once we've started the game."
Kick-off for the Seadogs is 3.00pm- they need a seven-goal swing but could go above leaders South Shields and second-placed AFC Fylde depending on their results.
