The Seadogs go to Spennymoor Town, on Tuesday night, in National North.
They remain in the play-off places, but only just, after Boxing Day's 1-0 defeat against rivals Darlington.
Boro boss Jono Greening spoke to SAFC TV after that game.
He was positive about Kieran Weledji being back and Stephen Walker's return, plus Lewis Maloney's continued recovery, but says without big cash to spend to cover injuries, his side must just continue working hard:
"You've got to just battle on and play, it's difficult, but listen, it is where we are. Like you said, we don't have any money. We have to try and get loans in that help us out in certain situations, which we'll try and do over the next couple of weeks. Hopefully Wacker's [Walker] got back on the pitch today, which is good news, so we can keep him fit.
"Hopefully Lewi's not far away as well, so that'd be good news. Obviously Keyser's back from suspension and then it's just trying to get the others back as fit in quick as possible. Quite a few things are in the fire regarding people coming on loan. If you can get them in, but you never know, you just keep working at that.
"But listen, all you can do is try and concentrate on the next game. Try and get a fully fit 11 out there, and even if you have one or two on the bench, that's all we can do at the moment."
Greening also admitted to SAFC TV he has a long list of possible absentees:
" The players will never give up. They've got great attitude, great application, great set of players, which I've always said, but when you have seven or eight injuries and you get more injuries in the game and you're thinking, oh, at the moment I've probably only got 10 fit players for a game in four days time, then you're really struggling.
"So listen, we have to try and get a couple in. We have to try and get a couple fit. Hopefully Lewi [Maloney], hopefully Wacker [Walker] stays fit. But listen, it's just about taking, for me, it's just about taking one game at a time, trying to get a fit and healthy team out, starting 11, a couple, two, three on the bench, and trying to be as positive and trying to win every game of football and trying to just target to stay in the play-offs."
