North Yorkshire Police say they have closed a number of roads in Scarborough town centre as they deal with an ongoing incident.
Officers say:
"We’re currently at the scene of an ongoing incident in the Albemarle Crescent area of Scarborough.
Please avoid the area whilst emergency services respond."
