The latest figures from a national crime survey for England and Wales show significant improvement in public confidence for North Yorkshire Police.
The survey ranks the force firmly within the top 10 best performing - across a number of disciplines.

The Crime Survey for England and Wales is seen as an important monitor of the extent of crime in England and Wales. It is used by the Government to evaluate and develop crime reduction policies.
As part of the survey participants are asked to rate their local force in a number of areas.
North Yorkshire Police ranked in the top ten rated forces in all areas of the confidence survey
