Scarborough Athletic boss Jono Greening has admitted he's disappointed to lose goalkeeper Joe Cracknell, who has departed the club.
The 29-year-old former Hull City goalkeeper joined the Seadogs full-time in August 2022, after two loan spells early in his career.
In a statement released by Scarborough Athletic FC, Greening said:
“We love Crackers and really wanted him to stay and compete for the number 1 shirt, but we fully understand his desire to play regular football".
Cracknell found himself behind regular keeper Ryan Whitley, in the pecking order, last season.
The club are planning to release their retained list, which confirms players leaving and staying 'in due course'.
