Business leaders in North Yorkshire say shoppers responded well to last weeks COVID rule changes but hospitality is suffering.
Shoppers in North Yorkshire do seem to be respecting the new rules on facemasks.
They were made compulsorily again in shops last week.
Caroyn Frank from the Federation of Small Businesses says most people are following the rules.
Carolyn say there has been an impact on hospitality businesses in the county after last weeks change in the rules round facemasks and concerns over the Omicron variant.
The FSB is encouraging everyone to continue supporting local businesses including by using local firms delivery offers.
