North Yorkshire Police says the number of women working for the organisation is continuing to increase.
It says it's taking positive steps to improve the diversity of it's workforce.
Assistant Chief Constable - Catherine Clarke - says the latest figures are positive.
Data from the North Yorkshire force shows a different gender split for roles within the force with more women in staff roles and working as PCSO's

The latest figures also show that volunteers are worth around £500,000 a year to North Yorkshire Police.
The force has both special constables and civilian volunteers.
Assistant Chief Constable Catherine Clarke has thanked them for their support.
