Deal or No Deal Devolution for East Riding?
Devolution or No Devolution - is the question being posed by Cllr Anne Handley.
On the 2nd January, an 8 week period of consultation began that will determine whether the creation of a mayoral combined authority will form and thereby generate a potential four hundred million pounds of future funding.
Cllr Handley said - this could be "only the beginning".
Cllr Handley went to reveal that if East Riding didn't take up on the deal, then the likes of Teesside who are already have a Mayoral Combined Authority would continue to reap greater benefits.
