Schools in North Yorkshire are making long term plans for the delivery of catch-up learning to pupils.
Teachers and Pupils at North Yorkshire's schools say the return to the classroom has been both welcome and tiring.
Amanda Newbold is the county's assistant director of education.
She says the feedback from schools about the return has been positive.
Education bosses in the county say schools are working hard to ensure pupils catch up on lost learning, but Amanda Newbold says it wont be a quick process.
