Bridlington Town Football club could have new owners in a matter of weeks.
The chairman of Bridlington Town Football Club says he's agreed to sell the club and hopes the new owners will be in place in a few weeks time.
Peter Smurthwaite has been in charge at Queensgate for the last two decades.
He says the sale process is progressing.
Peter Smurthwaite announced his intention to sell the club earlier this year, he had purchased the club back in 2004 at a time when the club had around £130k of debt which he has cleared during his ownership.
Peter says that the process has been progressing well since Easter.
