One man taken to hospital after a "large fight" in Filey.
North Yorkshire Police are seeking information regarding a significant altercation that occurred at the Fado and Tide pub in Filey on Saturday night, 8 November 2025 which they describe as "a large fight involving a number of people".
The incident took place around 10pm, with the disturbance escalating both inside the establishment and spilling out onto the street.
Authorities reported that one man was transported to hospital for an assessment following the brawl. However, police believe that at least two additional individuals sustained injuries but have yet to come forward to report them.
A spokesperson from North Yorkshire Police stated,
“We are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have been injured to contact us. Your information could be vital to our investigation.”
A man in his 40s has been arrested in connection with the incident and has since been released under investigation as enquiries continue.
