The Yorkshire Hospitality, Tourism & Business Trade Expo is taking place in Scarborough today.
It's one of the biggest hospitality industry events in the county and has proved so popular organisers say they have run out of stalls for the event.
Shirley Smith, from the Scarborough Hospitality Association, says the event has established a strong following.
The free event will take place between 10.00am and 4.00pm and will once again be held in the Scarborough Spa Grand Hall.
The event will see a variety of businesses exhibiting their products and services to hospitality and retail traders across the borough and beyond.
Exhibitors from a range of food, drink and service providers and attractions will come together from across the region, which in past years have including Bid Foods, Booker, Millers, Hopwells, Whitby Gin, Wold Top Brewery and tourism leader Visit England.
Over 1,000 hospitality businesses attended the last event with over 140 exhibitors taking place..
Shirley Smith from the Scarborough Hospitality Association says there has been a massive amount of interest in the event this time around despite the current economic climate.
Shirley adds:
"This is a fantastic event which enables independent producers to showcase their products and provides a great opportunity for business to business networking.
There will be a leaflet exchange including Free Scarborough Maps for all businesses to encourage hotels and other venues to cross display attractions and other local businesses "
Please note, this event is for trade businesses ONLY, and is not open to the general public.
