Yorkshire to Play Four Matches at Scarborough in 2025

Scarborough Cricket Club has revealed an exciting lineup of Yorkshire County Cricket Club fixtures scheduled for the 2025 season.

Fans can look forward to a mix of County Championship and Metro Bank One Day Cup action at North Marine Road.

County Championship:

  • Yorkshire will take on Surrey in a four-day match starting on 22nd July.
  • A clash against Sussex, also over four days, will commence on 29th July.

Metro Bank One Day Cup:

  • Yorkshire will face Warwickshire on Tuesday 5th August.
  • A match against Durham is slated for Friday 22nd August.

Bill Mustoe, President of Scarborough Cricket Club, expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming season, highlighting the high-caliber opposition Yorkshire will face.

“We are thrilled to announce YCCC matches we have scheduled for this season.  The matches we have been allocated are against top rated opposition and we are delighted at the prospect of hosting these at the club.” 

“Whether you're a lifelong cricket fan or new to the sport, there's something for everyone. These fixtures promise to deliver memorable experiences for all.”

The Scarborough Cricket Ground offers a unique and traditional setting for cricket. Its seaside location provides stunning views and a relaxed atmosphere. The intimate setting, in contrast to larger stadiums, allows spectators to feel closer to the action and enjoy a warm and friendly ambiance.

Scarborough's rich cricketing history, dating back to the 19th century, adds to the allure of the ground. The club also boasts excellent hospitality options, ranging from classic fish and chips and street food to locally made ice cream and special packages in the marquee.
