Organisations on the Yorkshire Coast who support children and young people with mental health issues are now able to bid for a share of a £440,000 fund.
It's all down to the Sirius Minerals Foundation, based on the Yorkshire Coast.
Chief Executive of the foundation, Leah Swain, says the fund has been created after a survey by the charity MIND revealed that one in six children and young people in the UK experienced mental health distress for the first time during the Covid-19 pandemic:
