Scalby battled manfully but lost to Brandesburton, who fired 327/7 after choosing to bat first- Paul Hesp took 3/79.
Skipper Lachlan Cooke led the way in Scalby's reply with 97 runs from 107 balls, but they lost out by 69 runs.
