North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue say a woman was cut free from a car on Bagdale in Whitby, on Monday.
Just after noon, crews from Whitby and Robin Hoods’ Bay used hydraulic cutting equipment to release a passenger in a car that had hit a wall.
Officers also administered first aid to the female passenger before handing her over to the ambulance crew.
The Whitby crew had, less than an hour earlier, attended a car fire, that they believe was caused by an electrical failure, on Blue Bank.
