Scarborough Athletic and Whitby Town had to be happy with draws as they chase promotion- while Bridlington Town were left disappointed.
For Brid, the NPL East's relegation trapdoor is still only five points away, with current second-bottom club Sheffield FC having three games in hand.
Brett Agnew's men lost 3-0 at Tyne & Wear club Hebburn Town on Saturday and drop to 14th in the 19-team league.

In the NPL Premier, Scarborough Athletic lost some ground after being held 2-2 in a rollercoaster clash at struggling Witton Albion.
Albion were without a win in nine games but took the lead through Callum Saunders on 16 minutes. However, repeated Boro pressure saw Luca Colville fire home the equaliser just after the half hour. The Seadogs, roared on by a noisy travelling support, then took the lead through Jake Day, on the hour, only for Saunders to secure a point, for his side, five minutes from time.
Boro boss Jono Greening spoke to Scarborough Athletic TV after the game:
Whitby Town remain on their rivals' tail after a battling draw in gale force winds at the Towbar Express Stadium.
Warrington led through Josh Amis, on 34 minutes, but Town improved after the break and levelled from the penalty spot through on-loan Middlesbrough youngster Harry Green.
The Blues' joint manager Lee Bullock caught up with Whitby Town TV post-match:
A tight top-end of the NPL Premier- the league champions are promoted and 2nd to 5th contest the end of season play-offs:
