Whitby's Adam Lyth has been banned from bowling the day after smashing the fastest ever half century in the Hundred competition.
Lyth has been banned from bowling after an assessment found he was using an illegal action.
The Yorkshire player was reported to the England and Wales Cricket Board after his side's T20 Blast semi-final at Edgbaston in July.
He's now got to pass an independent test before he can bowl in ECB competitions again.
It emerged after the former Scarborough CC batsman took just 17 balls to make his 50 on the way to 79 from 33 balls, on Thursday.
He was playing for the Northern Superchargers, who made 157/7 from their 100 balls.
However, it wasn't enough to beat the Oval Invincibles, led by England trio Jason Roy, Sam and Tom Curran, who lived up to their name, winning with three balls to spare.
