Junior Mondal was back in the Whitby Town side with a bang on Saturday.
After a three-match suspension that saw Town fail to score in any of those games, Mondal netted within 21 minutes against Basford at the Towbar Express Stadium.
Left-back Coleby Shepherd made it two late on after an incredible solo run from halfway with Jacob Gratton's injury-time penalty putting the gloss on a 3-0 victory.
The relegation-threatened visitors ended the match with nine men.
