Whitby Town Welcome Back Goal-den Boy

Junior Mondal was back in the Whitby Town side with a bang on Saturday.

After a three-match suspension that saw Town fail to score in any of those games, Mondal netted within 21 minutes against Basford at the Towbar Express Stadium.

The relegation-threatened visitors ended the match with nine men.

Blues boss Nathan Haslam spoke to Whitby Town TV after the full-time whistle:

Midfielder Adam Gell picked up the man of the match award, he told Whitby Town TV it was a solid display:

The Seasiders are back in action on Tuesday in the North Riding Senior Cup at Northallerton Town.
