Whitby Town Targeting End To Losing Run

The Blues are at fellow top-five outfit Ilkeston on Bank Holiday Monday with a 3pm start, bidding to bounce back from successive defeats.

Whitby may welcome a change of scenery after two defeats in four days at their Towbar Express Stadium.

The Blues lost 4-2 against Worksop last week then slipped to a 3-1 loss on Saturday to Ashton United.

Manager Nathan Haslam is pleased his side have a quickfire chance to turn things around:

Kick-off, for the NPL Premier clash, at Ilkeston, is 3.00pm.

It's a busy week for the Seasiders who go to Goole in the FA Cup First Qualifying Round on Friday night.
