The Blues are at Matlock Town on Tuesday, bidding to bounce straight back from Saturday's defeat.
Whitby lost 2-1 at home to Bamber Bridge, despite Nathan Thomas giving them an early lead, at the Towbar Express Stadium.
The Seasiders thumped Matlock 5-1 in Derbyshire, the last time the two sides met, in March, with Thomas netting twice.
Blues boss Nathan Haslam spoke to Whitby Town TV after Saturday's loss:
New signing Joe Gibson, from Middlesbrough, will be available for the trip.
Haslam is pleased there's a chance to hit back quickly after the weekend's disappointment:
There's full commentary on This Is The Coast Extra from just before 7.45pm of Matlock Town v Whitby Town.
