The Blues failed to take their chance of jumping into a playoff position in the Northern Premier League.
Whitby Town lost 2-1 away to Stalybridge last night.
The hosts took the lead through Jake Burton on 24 minutes but Town equalised in the 2nd half through leading scorer Jacob Hazel.
Shane Bland made a great save to keep Whitby in it 3 minutes into stoppage time but Whitby hearts were broken a minute later as Connor Falls headed home to seal victory for Stalybridge and send Whitby home with nothing.
Elsewhere, Matlock Town were held to a 0-0 draw meaning they only gain a point on 4th place Scarborough in the race for the playoffs.
