The Blues beat Marine on Saturday for their third successive win in NPL Premier.
The Blues took the lead, on 24 minutes, as left-back Coleby Shepherd drilled a low drive across goal and into the bottom left-corner.
They quickly added to the tie when Junior Mondal curled an unstoppable effort into the roof of the net from 20 yards.
It was three before the break when Connor Simpson's deflected header looped over the Mariners keeper for the big marksman second goal in as many games.
The Merseyside hosts pulled one back after a rare Shane Bland error saw the keeper caught in no man's land and beaten early in the second half.
