Town then doubled their advantage as Jacob Gratton steered home his first goal for the club, just before half-time.
Skipper Danny Rowe made it 3-0, from close range, early in the second half, with his second goal in as many games.
Guiseley reduced the arrears midway through the second half, then forced a string of goal-line clearances and Shane Bland saves as Town hung on bravely.
