Whitby Town Continue on FA Cup Trail

Whitby stay on the road to Wembley, while Bridlington Town picked up their first points.

Whitby Town will be in Monday's draw for the penultimate round of the FA Cup after a 3-0 victory at Prescot Cables on Saturday.

The Blues have so far amassed £5,625, with the same amount on offer if they win through to the fourth qualifying round.

They reached this stage after taking out another North West side from the league below.

Goals from Josh McDonald and a brace from Brad Fewster were enough to seal victory on Merseyside.

Meanwhile, Bridlington Town have their first points in NPL East after defeating Shildon 2-1, at the Hudgell Solicitors Stadium.

Andy Norfolk and Lewis Dennison notched for Brett Agnew's men.
