Whitby Town Football Club has officially signed young midfielder Jack Kilpatrick to the First Team following his successful progression through the club's Academy system.
Whitby Town Football Club has confirmed that young midfielder Jack Kilpatrick has officially signed First Team forms.
The signing underlines the club’s continued commitment to developing and nurturing talent from within its own Academy system on the Yorkshire Coast.
According to the club, Kilpatrick has progressed steadily through the Whitby Town youth ranks. He has earned this new opportunity following a sustained period of training alongside the senior squad.
The club states that the young midfielder has been closely involved with the First Team for several months. During this time, he has gained valuable experience and successfully impressed the coaching staff with both his strong application and his technical ability on the pitch.
Whitby Town noted that his signing represents a natural next step in his footballing development pathway. Kilpatrick had consistently performed at the Academy level before being invited to make the challenging transition into the senior environment.
Following the signing of his forms, Kilpatrick is now fully eligible for First Team selection.
The club has indicated that the midfielder could potentially be included in the matchday squad for Whitby Town’s upcoming away fixture against Warrington Town, which is scheduled to take place this Saturday.
Whitby Town Football Club added that this recent move highlights their ongoing focus on providing a clear and achievable route from Academy football straight into the First Team, with Kilpatrick serving as the very latest player to successfully make that upward progression.
