Whitby Town beat their ex-manager Chris Hardy's Bishop Auckland team and saw new marksman Jake Charles net twice in a 3-1 victory, on Saturday.
It was the Blues' first outing of the new season.
They fell behind to an early free-kick but levelled before half-time through an own goal.
Charles then scored twice after the break to take the Tony Lee Memorial Cup.
