Whitby Town Council will once again be hosting it's Armed Forces Day at the Dock End in Whitby on Saturday.
The event gets underway at 10am with the reveille and a welcome from the deputy Mayor of Whitby, Councillor Jonathan Harston.
On site there will be a selection of the veterans associations commercial stalls and a mobile climbing wall.
The 740 (Whitby) Squadron, ATC will present as well as entertainment from a handful of community music groups. The event will be attended by officers of RAF Fylingdales.
All money raised will be going to this years nominated veterans charity which is Combat Stress. The charity helps people with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
At 4pm, the event will come to a close with a sunset ceremony and last post followed by a minutes silence.
