The 0630 Whitby to Middlesbrough Service Ceased in May
Whitby's MP says he's yet to hear from anyone affected by the withdrawal of the Town's early morning train service to Middlesbrough.
The 0630 service stopped running in May, Northern Trains said the service was underutilised.
Speaking at a recent meeting of the Scarborough and Whitby Area committee Sir Robert Goodwill says he's not heard of any issues since the removal of the service.
Northern removed the 04.56 Northern service between Middlesbrough and Whitby from the timetable in May along with the 06.30 return from Whitby so that it could ‘add capacity on the busier 10.19am service between the two towns’.
