The Whitby Christmas tradition of running into the North Sea on Boxing Day morning continues today.
The annual Whitby Lions Boxing Morning Dip is on again this year. Here is a little history about the event.
Last year was the biggest ever, raising nearly £5,000.00 for local charities with 250 people taking part. It has become a Whitby Christmas tradition to go and see the dippers run in the North Sea on Boxing Day morning, and it draws over two thousand people.
You can even go as a superhero if you wish...
And you can enter on the day.
