The Blues beat the visitors 2-1 at the Towbar Express Stadium at the Turnbull Ground last night.
The home side hit the post in the first half before Brad Fewster made it 1-0 on 35 minutes.
Whitby had another couple of chances to score more but it remained 1-0 as the teams went in for the half time break.
Warrington upped their game in the 2nd half, creating chances and they scored an equaliser through Connor Woods on 56 minutes.
But just a minute later Aaron Haswell restored Whitby's lead and the Blues held on for a vital 3 points in their bid to climb away from the relagation zone in the Northern Premier League. They now sit 17th.
