The Blues lost 1-0 at home to Morpeth Town last night and are now back in the relegation zone.
Whitby have only won 3 in 13 home league matches this season, following an 8th NPL defeat at the Towbar Express Stadium last night.
Dan Rowe came close to putting the home side ahead just before half time, with his shot going narrowly wide.
But it was Morpeth who scored the only goal of the game in the 2nd half, Ben Sayer scoring on 61 minutes.
Whitby applied some late pressure, creating chances and Adam Gell hit the crossbar in the dying seconds but it remained 1-0.
Whitby slip back into the relegation zone.
