The Met Office has warned residents in North Yorkshire as weather warnings are in place with more rain coming.
Warnings are in place across the county until 3am on Sunday morning.
The Met Office says:
A band of rain, heavy at times, will move eastwards across the area this morning, clearing by around midday. 10-20mm is likely in places with perhaps 25-30mm over hills and mountains, and falling onto already saturated ground. A drier interlude follows, but further heavy rain is expected this evening as bands of showers sweep eastwards producing a further 20-30mm, along with a risk of hail and thunder.
Give yourself the best chance of avoiding delays by checking road conditions if driving, or bus and train timetables, amending your travel plans if necessary.
Check if your property could be at risk of flooding. If so, consider preparing a flood plan and an emergency flood kit. Be prepared for weather warnings to change quickly: when a weather warning is issued, the Met Office recommends staying up to date with the weather forecast in your area.
