North Yorkshire Police have a new recruit in the form of Cocker Spaniel Puppy Benji.
Benji was gifted to the force by a retired officer and is training to become a specialist search dog.
Officers from the force's dog unit say:
"As you can see in this video, he's been at police HQ showing off his concentration and ball-finding skills to our student officers.
He looks cute and cuddly, but one day he could be performing a crucial role in keeping North Yorkshire safe. He’ll still be cute and cuddly though"
