North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue have revealed they attended a car crash in the Esk Valley on Friday evening.
They say it happened around 6.30pm in Castleton.
They added that firefighters from nearby Danby and Whitby responded to reports of a two-vehicle road traffic collision.
Danby crews arrived on the scene, making vehicles safe and assisting paramedics with casualty care.
There are no reports of serious injuries at this time.
