The Yorkshire Coast is set benefit from an increasing number of films and TV shows being filmed in the area.
As 2021 looks to be the year of the staycation, tourism bosses on the Yorkshire Coast say the area is well placed to benefit from an increase in media interest in Yorkshire during lockdown.
Carolyn Nicholl from Welcome to Yorkshire says with people watching more TV during the lockdowns it's been a great time to have the county featuring in many of the shows and that's lead to national press interest.
Several major films have been filmed in the county recently and with a number of top TV shows also being based here Carolyn says the surge in media interest in the county can only be good for tourism.
