After a sell-out event last year that welcomed more than 3,000 visitors across the weekend, Yorkshire’s eco-friendly food and drink festival - Savour the Coast - is back at Scarborough Spa this weekend.
Promising a weekend of foodie fun for the whole family, Savour the Coast showcases all the incredible food offerings from across the coastline, while recognising the efforts that producers and venders make in order to protect the environment.
Shining light on what the Yorkshire Coast has to offer, Savour the Coast celebrates the delicious local produce with up to 45 food stalls for visitors to indulge in, as well as live music from a lineup of brilliant local bands and musicians for festival goers to enjoy throughout the day and night.
This year’s vendors at Savour the Coast will include local seasonal restaurant Embers, the Hot Waffle and Sama Sama in the Sun Court and the likes of Filey Gin, Betton Wines and Filey Bay Whiskey setting up shop in the Food & Drink Hall.
The festival will also feature an array of live music from Annie and King, Jesse Caine and Eli and the Blues Prophets amongst many more. In 2024, the team behind the festival have also added a heated marquee to ensure the festivities can continue long after the sun goes down.
In a bid to reduce the collective environmental impact, all producers and vendors taking part are committed to making a difference, starting with simple choices such as biodegradable friendly food packaging.
Savour the Yorkshire Coast will be funded for its second year by the Yorkshire Coast Bid, as it continues to align with the BID’s mission to highlight what the area has to offer and protect it for future generations.
The festival is free to attend, and this year will not be ticketed. Instead guests can turn up and enjoy everything the festival has to offer!
