East Yorkshire remains the only part of Yorkshire not to have a devolution deal.
The East Riding is trailing behind the rest of Yorkshire when it comes to devolution.
It's the only part of the wider county not to have a devolution deal agreed.
Last week the Leader of East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Councillor Anne Handley, met with Government Ministers to try and move forward plans for Hull and East Yorkshire to create a combined Mayoral Authority and unlock the devolution cash.
Councillor Handley says being without a deal is frustrating.
East Riding of Yorkshire Council and Hull are looking at creating a "Combined Mayoral Authority" as part of the governments plans for devolution.
It would effectively create a new layer of local governance with an elected Mayor receiving devolved powers and funding from Westminster over areas such as transport policy, skills training and some economic development.
