The local authority in East Riding's summer Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme is well underway.
There are 45 new programmes commissioned for children and young people aged 5-16-years-old who receive benefits-related free school meals during the school summer holidays.
There is a range of fun and creative activities on offer organised by local charities, community groups, businesses and internal services.
With the rise of food poverty, living and fuel costs, HAF enables children and young people to enjoy a healthy meal and enriching sport, play, art, drama, music, outdoor adventure and cultural activities for free in localities across the East Riding.
Families who are in receipt of benefits-related free school meals are encouraged to sign up to the HAF newsletter, details of which can be found at: www.activeeastriding.co.uk/holiday-activities-and-food/.
Here you'll find out all about the exciting new activities available in the Easter, summer and Christmas holidays.
Meanwhile, for information about lots of activities for all children and young people, you can visit www.activeeastriding.co.uk.
