The Seadogs face a tricky trip to highly-rated Chester on Saturday however.
Jono Greening's men are unbeaten since 1-0 opening day defeat at Kidderminster Harriers.
They go to Chester on the back of four successive victories, on Saturday.
Greening is expecting a tough test for his side:
" They are a really good team good manager. They play the right way. They probably had a little bit of bad luck, I watched a few of the games already and they've been a bit of unlucky in a few games. So probably the league position. It doesn't do justice them really. We know it's going to be a tough game.
"We have to perform well, like we've been doing in the first seven games of the season. It's good when you're up there but you can't be complacent. You've got to keep striving, you've got to keep setting the standards higher, even higher than you've already set. And yeah, we just, like I said, we keep playing each game one at a time. Try and do our best."
The Seadogs largely have a clean bill of health going into the clash with striker Steven Walker joint top of the National North scorers' chart.
