None of our local sides lost out as Scarborough Athletic made it two wins in a row at the Flamingo Land Stadium.
Scarborough Athletic made it back-to-back wins with a 3-0 win over Nantwich Town, despite Nathan Cartman's first-half sending off.
Jake Day opened the scoring early in the second half at the Flamingo Land Stadium. Ryan Watson then curled in a free-kick to double Boro's advantage. Late on, Ryan Whitley saved a Nantwich penalty and newcomer Luca Colville kept up his strong scoring record with a third in front of just short of 900 mainly-delighted supporters.
The win takes the Seadogs up to eighth- they're six points behind fifth-placed Yorkshire Coast rivals Whitby Town and the play-off places.
Whitby earned a 1-1 draw at Basford United. Behind at half time, the Blues levelled through on-loan Middlesbrough teenager Harry Green.
Bridlington Town held Ossett United 0-0 in NPL East. Brid are second-bottom, but basement side Pickering Town are now level on points with Brett Agnew's men after a shock 4-1 victory yesterday.
