The venue has enjoyed record ticket sales this year after hooking up with Live Nation.
North Yorkshire Council's Head of Venues, Stuart Clark, said the partnership, through bookers Daniel Cuffe and Peter Taylor has brought huge names like The Beach Boys to the arena and gives protection to the local authority:
Social media followers have increased significantly and Stuart says organisers spend a lot of money in the local economy as well, employing local crews at each show, so there's a significant investment in local staff as well.
He said the Live Nation partnership offers great value too:
