Scarborough's Jocelyn Dixon Secured Five Gold Medals at the ICO Four Nations Championship over the weekend.
Jocelyn was part of the team from Scarborough based Desapline Martial Arts who were competitng at the England leg of the ICO Four Nations Championship.
Jocelyn's mum, Lisa Dixon who is an assistant coach at Jocelyn's club, said the whole team did well in the kickboxing competition, gaining 14 gold, 9 silver and 11 bronze medals.

Jocelyn accounted for five of those gold medals.

Jocelyn started learning kickboxing at the age of four and has recently begun training in karate and taekwondo forms. At the competition, Jocelyn participated in a number of categories and tried new things.
She said that she found the atmosphere of the competition to be very supportive, with everyone cheering each other on.
"The good things were that it was really a nice atmosphere. Everyone was kind of cheering each other on and everyone was clapping for each other and everything,"
Although Jocelyn didn’t expect to win in every category, she said she had fun trying new things which made her feel more confident. One of these was "Wushu", which she stated was "not one of my strongest things".
Jocelyn has a large collection of medals which she keeps in a big cabinet in her bedroom. When asked about her future plans, Jocelyn said she hopes to compete in the World Championships this year and perhaps the Olympics later in life.
According to Jocelyn, her martial arts club has a great atmosphere, is like "one big family" and has given her "more opportunities with meeting people that can help me with my tricks".
Lisa Dixon said that the club has a history of winning awards at competitions both nationally and internationally, including Germany for the World Championships last year and Hungary the year before.
The club also has additional needs classes for both youngsters and adults.
