Scarborough's annual Toy Service takes place this evening in a virtual format.
The event marks the culmination of the Rotary Club and Salvation Army toy appeal.
Organiser Nigel Wood says that despite the COVID restrictions the toy appeal has performed well with 34 businesses making the appeal their Christmas project.
They will be celebrating with an online version of the Toy service at 6pm today.
The project sees presents collected and delivered to vulnerable children across the Borough.
It started nine years ago with three hundred toys - since it launched to project has delivered 13,000 toys.
Nigel says they've had a great response from local businesses this year.
The toy service will be streamed on YouTube at 6pm this evening (Sunday December 6th) and can be accessed here https://youtu.be/j2SyVVZlGw0
